Anheuser-Busch to Launch Own Online Station: Bud.TV

Budweiser BeerAmerica's largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch announced that it will launch its own in-house video production company, along with a Web-based video network called Bud.TV. The move is geared to target 21-27 year old males, who are increasingly moving to online entertainment on websites such as MySpace and YouTube.

Viacom, Yahoo Merger?

Entertainment analyst Robert Routh, of Jefferies & Co., thinks that Viacom and Yahoo should consider a merger.

According to MarketWatch, "Routh pointed to the presence of Yahoo Chief Executive Terry Semel, who, with Bob Daly, turned Warner Bros. into the industry's most profitable studio over a 20-year period that ended in 1999."

Cadbury EggSome of the popular Cadbury chocolate eggs, a favorite around Easter time, are being recalled because pieces of plastic were discovered in the product. Chocolate maker Cadbury Adams Canada, based in Toronto Canada, discovered the problem at a Hamilton production line. According to their spokesperson a small piece of plastic used to mould the eggs chipped and got into the product.
