Britney Spears To Lose Custody of Kids
Britney Spears reportedly will temporarily lose custody of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, according to a recent report by Fox News, which cites unidentified sources. Since her divorce from Kevin Federline, the couple has had joint custody of the two boys.
The "secret witness" in the case, a former bodyguard named Tony Barretto who worked for Britney Spears after her rehab, had indicated that nudity, drug use and safety issues were a threat to the children's welfare.
While Baretto did not actually testify, he had appeared at the family court to support a sealed declaration about events he witnessed regarding the children and activities of concern that he says occurred in the home. Spears' lawyer countered that Baretto is not a credible witness.
In related news, Britney Spears' lawyer, Laura Wasser is withdrawing as Spears' attorney, and Britney's her management company has also dropped her as a client. According to TMZ sources, Britney was a "problem client" who did not follow the advice of her counsel.
