Daniel Craig has recently been named as the actor who will portray agent 007 in the next James Bond Movie, Casino Royale. He replaces Pierce Brosnan, who has played Bond in the past 4 James Bond movies.
The blond-haired 37-year old actor arrived at a River Thames press conference in a military speedboat. The actor began his film career in the 1992 film The Power of One and has also appeared in Road to Perdition and Enduring Love.
Adapted from Ian Flemming's first James Bond story, the next movie will be Casino Royale, produced by Michael G. Wilson.
Craig's personal life has gained some press attention recently, as he has dated Kate Moss (recent press: Kate Moss cocaine video), and was also thought to have been involved with Sienna Miller.
